An Introduction to the Windows 8 Store

Windows 8 Store the tablets and mostly built with smartphones in mind, though, it is a part of every version of the operating system, and one of its major components. Windows Store is analogous to Google Play Store or the Mac Apple Store.

Products available through the store offers both free and paid apps.

How to use Windows 8 Store

The system is extremely easy to use. The characteristics Apps, Top Free Apps, Top Paid Apps and search for apps to view or you can browse through them by category. Find apps, and apps to a keyword list will be narrowed down, start typing in real time. Alternatively, the search panel to bring up the Windows key and press Q.

To install a free app, you need to do is tap or click on tiles that represent the application and click "Install." To install a paid application, after you "buy", need to click on the "Confirm." You only have to enter your payment details once. Windows 8 bought online as a digital download, so your payment information should already be in the Windows Store.

To date it is a good idea to keep your apps. Many apps are updated on a regular basis. Update, fix problems and sometimes add additional features or improve existing ones. To update all of your apps in one hit return and the top-right corner of the Windows Store "Update" Click. If no updates are available, this link will not appear. To update your apps, click "Select All" at the bottom of the page and click "Install."
